Joseph S. Lento
Joseph S. Lento is a conservatory trained, professional musician who began playing trumpet in 6th grade and by the age of sixteen was already teaching privately and playing professionally. His career in education began in 1984 and is in its fifth decade. He has received Letters of Commendation for educational excellence from President George Herbert Walker Bush, and President George W. Bush. Joseph was deemed a Maestro by Senator Kirsten Gillabrand and he was proclaimed a National Teacher of the Arts and Humanities by President Barack Obama in 2014.
Maestro Lento brings a wealth of experience and commitment to excellence in education in addition to a joyful, caring spirit as a general advisor to Creative Visions Education and Youth Empowerment. He will also serve as a curriculum specialist to the music education segments of the Rock Your World Curriculum.
